In sweet peace, Robert Junior Campbell transitioned to his Heavenly home Monday, June 30, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born May 13, 1951 in Davie County, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Carl Junior and Eva Mae Brown Campbell. Robert enriched our lives and brightened our days. His loss has left an irreplaceable void in our lives and he will be missed beyond measure. We give thanks to Our Savior for allowing us to share a wonderful life.
He was educated in the Davie County public schools where he graduated from Davie County High School in Mocksville, North Carolina. Robert retired after several years of exemplary employment from Ingersoll Rand in Mocksville, North Carolina.
A member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Mocksville, North Carolina, Robert enjoyed fellowshipping with the members and lending a helping hand when possible. Robert was also a proud member of the DC Cruisers.
In his leisure time, Robert enjoyed playing checkers, watching game shows, attending car shows, going to the drag strip, watching sports, playing pool and spending time with his family. He was a loyal fan of the Carolina Panthers football team as well as the UNC Tarheels basketball team.
His parents, Carl and Eva Mae, siblings, Brenda C. Campbell and Regenia M. Campbell; and aunt, Berlie L. Brown preceded him in death.
Forever remembered, forever loved, Robert's memory will remain in the hearts of his beloved daughters, Devona M. Campbell of Advance, North Carolina and Veronica E. Campbell of Louisville, Kentucky; three sisters: Mae C. Peebles and Frances D. Campell both of Advance, North Carolina and Lisa C. Williams of Boonville, North Carolina; two aunts, Hazel B. March and Martha Pulliam Edwards; nephew, Alex; four nieces: Tressa, Tara, Shawna and Janay; two great nieces: Lauren and Aurora; two great nephews, Devon and Mathias; a great-great nephew, Zion; a great-great niece, Zoé; and a host of other family and friends.




The family will receive friends at 114 E. Robin Drive, Advance, NC 27006.


Homegoing Celebration will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Mocksville, North Carolina with a 30 minute visitation prior to service. A public viewing will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Service.
