Robert "Busta" Grant, 31, of James St., passed away on September 16, 2023. He was born in Davidson County on February 25, 1992 to Lester Johnson and Tuwana Jefferson Effinger.

He was educated in the Lexington City School System and was a 2011 graduate of Lexington Senior High School. Buster was a forklift driver at Schneider Electric.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Lester "Busta" Johnson and Tuwana J. (Thomas) Effinger; his son, Cairo Grant; a daughter, Ryleigh Grant; two daughters he reared, Amaija Johnson and Ashtyn Smith; two sisters, Quenesha Tuttle and Aliyah Adams; five honorary brothers: Keenan Barnes, Akeem Bangurah, Aziz Bangurah, Marquis Steadman and Josh Gilmore; grandmother, Carrie Jefferson; four aunts: Kathy (Troy) Wall, Angelia (Henry) Mason, Twila Lynn Jefferson, Quila (Sumaila) Bangurah; two honorary aunts, Renee Jefferies and Elizabeth Thomas; two uncles, Tony Lee Jefferson and Michael Jefferson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday at High Rock Church at 2:00 P.M. with family visitation at 1:30 P.M. Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.
