Robert Irvin Moore, 68, of Manchester Street, Winston-Salem, NC, heeded God's call and entered Heaven's gate on Friday, July 17, 2020 while in the comfort and security of his home.He was born into this world on December 16, 1951 in Gaston County, North Carolina.He was the son of the late Alonzo Moore and Dora Ingram.
He received his formal education in the local school system. Robert was employed with Coliseum Shell Service Station as a Machinist.Religiously, he was of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Alphonzo Moore, John Moore, Joseph Moore; three sisters: Evelyn Hayes, Betty Ingram, Teresa Moore.
Left behind to cherish his life is his devoted former wife, Margaretta Hines; eight daughters: Tangela (Walter) Jones, Twanna Stuckey, Trina (Kinnard) Kirby, Valencia Stuckey, Tracy (Anthony) Morrison, Trixie (Melvin) Baker, Tammy Stuckey, Rebecca Stuckey; stepson, Matthew Stuckey; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; sister, Vera Moore; two brothers: Sylvester (Janice) Moore and Dwight Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
His life will be celebrated privately at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem. Inurnment will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Public viewing will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem Chapel.
All guests are required to wear a face mask or covering for all services.
