Obituary
Roberta King Hall, 83, of Bridgeport, peacefully passed on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was born in Wendell, North Carolina to William and Alberta King.
She worked as a CNA at the Carlton Hospital until she retired; however, her retiring did not stop her passion for caring for others as she worked into her late 70's as a private duty CNA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman Hall, Jr.; a sister, Lillian Green and brothers: William, John and Jimmy Lee King.
Roberta leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Wenifer (Laurence) Diggs of New Haven, Connecticut; two grandchildren, McArthur (Kerri) Wright, Jr. and Regina Allyn Wright both of Bridgeport, Connecticut; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Allean Parker of Bridgeport, Connecticut and Fannie Mae Fitzgerald of Lexington, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to current conditions, a private burial will be held at Beaverdale Cemetery in Hamden, Connecticut on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 10:00am. Howard K. Hill Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.
