Obituary
Rommie Patterson Harris, 66, better known as "HIS", of Mendota Ave., passed away peacefully Friday, July 24 at the Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:30pm at Union Baptist Church with visitation a half hour before the service.Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
He was born January 15, 1949 in Macon, NC to the late Forest and Marindia Harris.Rommie was an active and dedicated member of Jehovah Jireh Community Outreach Center of Lexington, NC until his health declined. He retired from Leggett and Platt.
He leaves to cherish his memories, four sisters, Carol Harris (McArthur) Vickers, Juanita Harris Taylor, Doris Harris Davis and Marindia Harris (Billy) Bennett all of Lexington; four brothers, Kenneth Harris, Darrell (Nicie) Harris and Quintin Harris of Lexington, and Dana (Diane) Harris of Salisbury; a devoted loving friend, Sharon Turner; an aunt, Esther Davis of Warrenton, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
