Life Dedication
Ronald Crooks Campbell, affectionately known as "Shine and "Spike," was called to eternal peace on May 3, 2020.Ronald was born in Lexington, NC on August 26, 1954 to the late Thurman and Bertha Campbell.He attended Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and graduated from Reynolds Senior High School in 1974.He was a veteran of the United States Army.He worked for Fairchild, Jepson Burns and B.E. Aerospace for a total of 37 years.He dedicated his life to Christ and was a faithful member of Genesis Victory Outreach Center before his failing health.
Precious Memories
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Campbell-Binns; parents, Thurman and Bertha Campbell; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Gertrude Cuthbertson and niece, Devette Campbell.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 28 years, Sherron Campbell; four sons: Clarence Campbell (Melissa), Ronald Campbell, Jr., Michael Coleman, Jr. (Deidra), Ricky Coleman; one daughter, Gemekia Futrell (Darrin); son-in-law, Brian Binns (Shameika); four brothers: Thurman Campbell (Debbie), John Campbell, Jay Campbell (Veronica) all of Winston-Salem, NC and Todd Campbell of Washington, DC; five sisters: Jacqueline Williamson (Tyrone), Thea Campbell, Una Jones (Selwyn), Jerri Campbell all of Winston-Salem, NC and Katrina Martin of Lexington, NC; 16 grandchildren; one great grandson; aunt, Doris Jordan of High Point, NC; distinguished in-laws: Sam and Rosa Hynes, Hessie and Mildred; special friends Mike and Carseania Tribble, James Williamson, Leonard Scott, Charles and Burnette McCargo, Vanessa Hayes and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will hold a private funeral service to celebrate his life.However, public viewing will be Friday, May 8, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem Chapel.
