Obituary

Ronald Powers was born on July 25, 1949 in Davidson County to the late Robert Powers and Velma Davis Powers. He entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2025 at the Hinkle Hospice House.

Ronald received his education in the Lexington City School System and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Throughout his working years, he was employed with Print Craft and later with Diebold, where he was known for his dedication, strong work ethic and commitment to doing every job with pride.

He was a man of faith and a member of First Baptist Church on Village Drive, where he worshiped in the Baptist tradition.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Jordan Powers and two sisters, Veronica Powers Hedrick and Patricia Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his devoted wife, Natalie Powers of the home; one daughter, Ronetta Stokes (Michael) of Bristol, CT; one son, Ryon (Keneisha) Powers of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren: Sonja and Jalen of Bristol, CT and Reign Powers of Winston-Salem, NC; one great-grandson, Caron Robinson of Bristol, CT; one sister, Linda Kaye Lewis of High Point, NC; two sisters-in-law, Jean Jefferson of Portland, OR and Marquita Clement of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Ronald took great joy in his role as an uncle, especially to his beloved niece, Darlene Anderson, with whom he shared countless treasured moments. He was also especially grateful for Tammy Anderson, whose love, care and concern meant so much during his final months.

He was an avid Carolina Panthers fan and loved cheering his team on every chance he could.
