Our beloved Associate Pastor, Rosa Renee McCluney, 60, passed unexpectedly Thursday, July 22, 2021. She was born January 6, 1961 in Davidson County to Hester Mae McCluney Huey and the late Bobby Payne.

She retired from Thomasville Furniture. She was a faithful member of New Deliverance Worship Center, serving as the Associate Pastor, Outreach Ministry, Pastor Aide and known for sending cards and praying for everyone and being a friend to everyone. She was awarded "Most Outstanding Resident" in 2019 from the Forest Hill community.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Hester Mae Huey; her son, Kennard Crosby; two grandchildren, Ariyan Dalton and Khalem Glenn; six brothers: Dana Phillips, Huben Phillips, Rev. Quentin Boger, Robert Boger, Sydney Boger and Bryon Payne; six sisters: Beverly Peterson, Elizabeth Richardson, Lois Pharr, Tameka Pringle, Brenda Wright Deloris Phillips; an uncle, Hollis McCluney and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

The celebration of life service will be Saturday at Christ Deliverance Temple, 3844 Hwy 8 at 1:00pm with family visitation at Noon.Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00pm-6:00pm.
