IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosetta Elizabeth
Martin
October 18, 1964 – November 19, 2021
Rosetta Elizabeth Martin, 57, of Lexington, North Carolina answered the call of our Lord and Savior on Friday, November 19, 2021. She was born on October 18, 1964 to the late Vinnie Beatrice Martin Ross and the late David Charles Boger.
Rosetta was known to many as Sis Rose or Crow. She truly believed in the Lord God Almighty. She was not connected to any particular church but she visited many. She believed that the church was within one's self. She often prayed that she continue to treat others the way she wanted to be treated. She proudly served her community by opening her home to many. She loved taking out time to spend with friends and family. Her hobbies were cooking, shopping and reading the Word of God.
Rosetta worked at Young & Hinkle for over 18 years until the plant closed. If it was still open, she would probably still be there, that's how loyal and dedicated she was.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, James Ross, her grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Martin; two aunts, Mrs. Racheal Cobbs and Mrs. Margaret Bennett and her brother, Anthony "Doc" Martin.
She leaves to cherish her memories, four sisters: Margaret (Tyrone) Martin, Andrea Dye, Beverly (John) Peterson and Elizabeth (Sylvester) Richardson; four brothers: Dana (Roxanne) Phillips, Rev. Elmer (Adrainna) Crump, James L. Ross, Jr. and Shawn (Nicey) Ross; three uncles: Thomas (Linda) Martin, Elder Henry L. Cobbs and Michael Ross; two aunts, Nancy Northington and Pat Ross; two special nieces, Monique Eyvette Robinson and Ty'sia Allen; sister/cousin, Bj Ashe; special friend/caregiver, Tonya Leverette and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday at 1:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service. Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.
