Ruth Jean Barber was born in Davidson County to the late David Donald Barber and Frances Edna Everhart Barber. She passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Hinkle Hospice House.

Jean was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Land Park Furniture.

She leaves to cherish her memory her step daughter, Patsy Stanford Hostermon; a sister, Nola Isenhour; a brother, Ben Barber; step grandchild, Kinsley Hostermon; a devoted friend, Shirley Payne and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Service at Noon with visitation at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
