Mrs. Sarah Blackmon Turman, 90, of Richmond Dr., died Thursday, October 15, 2015, at her residence.

The funeral service will be Monday at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Public viewing will be Sunday from 1:00pm -6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born in Lincolnton, Ga. on May 13, 1925, to Frank Blackmon and Ann Blackmon. She retired from PPG Ind. and was a member of First Baptist Church on Village Dr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gipson Turman; a son, Donnie Turman and grandson, Frank Turman, Jr.

Mrs. Turman leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Frank Turman, Stanley (Loretta) Turman and Norris (Rev. Wanda) Turman; a brother, Henry Lewis Blackmon; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
