Shamarquis Kimson Bush was born on July 21, 1993 in Lexington, North Carolina to Tawanna Bush and Howard Reid. He passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023.

He attended school in the Lexington City School System. Throughout his young life he was known for being very kind-hearted and loving. He enjoyed being around his friends and family. Shamarquis was also known for being the best at frying chicken and keeping a smile on everyone's face.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Kent Reid; his grandfather, Robert Wright and his great-grandmother, Lessie Mae Wright.

Shamarquis leaves behind to cherish his memories and mourn his passing his mother, Tawanna Bush; his sister, Brianna Bush; three nephews: Ta'Vare Harris, TraMayne Harris and Takoda Harris; a niece, Winter Peace; two aunts, Raneisha Wright and Rosa Bush; three uncles: Cameron Barkdale, Robert Bush and Shadarius Barkdale and a host of other relatives and friends. He made a huge impact on everyone's life that he touched and will be deeply missed by everyone.
