Shannon Michele Harris, 35, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Sunrise Hospital Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1989 to Bill Jones, Jr. and Shaunta Harris in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Shannon received her formal education from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and was a graduate of Parkland High School. She continued her education journey at Fayetteville State University, Home of the Broncos, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While residing in Las Vegas, she worked as a laboratory technician. In her leisure time, Shannon loved relaxing at the beach and spending time in the mountains; her peace was top priority and thus, she found meditation vital to her well-being. She was a foodie and loved eating out.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lamont Jarrett and uncle, Vanzie Lee Walker.

Shannon leaves to cherish her fond memories her mother, Shaunta Harris and father, Bill Jones, Jr.; siblings: Krystal Strickland of Raeford, NC, Nicole Harris of Winston-Salem, NC, Tamara Harris of Clemons, NC, Henry Lee Pemberton of Charlotte, NC, Leonard Smith (Karla), Antonio Witherspoon of High Point, NC; uncles, Kenneth Curly and Calvin Walker; and a host of great uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
