Shantae Simone Shaw was born July 23, 1989 in Davidson County to Donna Shaw Rivers and Dennis Scott. She passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at her residence.

She worked at Pine Ridge Nursing Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jocelyn Brielle Shaw; her parents, Donna (Kurt) Shaw River and Dennis (Lisa) Scott; four brothers: Steven Shaw, Travis Scott, Jermaine Taylor and Demetrius Royal; a sister, Danyell Horton; two grandmother, Rita Reeves and Sadie Rivers and a host of other family and friends.
