Sharlene Denise Peebles Brown, 45, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Sharlene was born November 11, 1978 to William Peebles and Christine Crump Peebles in Forsyth County. She was of the Baptist faith. Sharlene was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School. She was self-employed as a beautician.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Clarence Brown, Jr.; two daughters, Lenasha D. Williams and Raven C. Brown; her mother, Christine Peebles; a brother, Elmer (Rae) Crump; five sisters: Rhonda (Leon) Hargrave, Ponda (Willie) Cureton, Janice Truesdale, Jerdean Truesdale and Sharon Truesdale and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Village Dr. at Noon with family visitation at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Public Viewing will be Tuesday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
