Shayron Darnell Winston, 63, of Zane Perkins Dr., passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral service will be Monday at 11:30am at Files Chapel Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before the service.Burial will be Tuesday at 11:00am at Salisbury National Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Sunday from 1-6pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born May 3, 1951 in Davidson County to Alfreda Winston Jones. He was a member of Files Chapel Baptist Church.He was last employed with the City of Lexington.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lonnie E. Winston and Mark S. Jones.
Shayron leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Alfreda Winston Jones; two sons, Torrey (Patrina) Winston and Cosse Carter; two daughters, Althea (Roosevelt) Thomas and Jessica Neely; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Daverne Winston, Clarence Winston and Warren Winston; two sisters, Roxanne Winston and Ulissa (Joe) Delolatch; a special friend, Bonnie Carter; two aunts, Aquilla Sampson and Maurine Burnside; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
