Mrs. Shirley D. Norman Coleman was born in Davidson County to the late James Norman, Jr. and Marjorie Lyons Norman. On Saturday, December 3, 2022 God dispatched his angel to Hinkle Hospice House to bring his daughter home from labor to reward.

She was educated in the Lexington City School System and was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School class of 1971. She was a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church and served on numerous organizations in the church. She worked at National Wholesale before her health started to decline.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Coleman, a brother, Zachary Norman and a sister, Brenda Norman LeGrand.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her three daughters: Barbara Norman, LaToya Coleman and Cemmie (Terrance) Lloyd; four grandchildren and a great grandchild; a brother, Michael Norman; four sisters: Jacqueline Norman, Kathy Norman, Angela (Darryl) Bailey and Kasa Norman; three aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be Saturday at Roberts Funeral Service at 2:00pm.
