Stanley Earl Corbett, Sr., 62, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina passed on Monday, June 22, 2020 at his home. He was born on December 10, 1957 to Earnest Corbett, Sr. and Amanda J. Cassell in Brooklyn, New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Corbett, Sr. and Amanda J. Cassell and his brother, Earnest Corbett, Jr.

He was a graduate of Central Davidson High School in Lexington, North Carolina.He was employed with New York Transit Authority where he retired after 28 years of service.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Leona James Corbett; step-father, William Harrison of Southmont, NC; sons: Nicolas Cluster of Atlanta, GA, Stanley Corbett, Jr. of Laurinburg, NC, Shawn Graves of Brooklyn, NY; daughters, Jennifer (Johnny) Corbett-Marshall of Lexington, NC; Shawnna Graves of Brooklyn, NY; eight grandchildren; step children: Theodore Southerland, Jermel James, Jenille James and Chanel James all of Winston-Salem, NC; four step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; siblings: William Patrick Harrison of Lexington, NC; Barney Corbett of Tampa, FL, Michael Milton of Virginia and Ernestine Corbett of Brooklyn, NY; aunts and uncles: Richard (Patty) Cassell of Statesville, NC, Estella J. Corbett of South Carolina, Inez Johnson and Ruth David both of Lexington, NC and a host of many beloved family members and friends.
