Stephanie Moore entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 7, 2023 while a patient at Duke Raleigh Hospital, Raleigh, North Carolina. We give thanks for Stephanie's life and we are grateful for the many memories.


Stephanie was born April 7, 1966 in Lincoln County, Georgia and was the daughter of the George Moore, Sr. and the late Grace Allen Moore. She received her formal education in the Lincoln County Schools. Stephanie enjoyed spending time with family and her children and grandchildren were the apples of her eye.


Along with her mother, Stephanie was preceded in death by a son, Terrick Moore.


Stephanie is survived by a loving and supportive family who will cherish her memory. Survivors are: father, George Moore, Sr; four sons: Kenyune (Monica) Moore, Sr., of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Kalvin Mabry of Durham, North Carolina, Chris Bennett of Lexington, North Carolina and Kevin Moore of Augusta, Georgia; seven grandchildren; four brothers: George (Syliva) Moore, Jr., of Lexington, North Carolina, Jerry (Vernitta) Moore, John (Nellie) Martin of Augusta, Georgia and Bryan Winston of Southmont, North Carolina; three sisters: Courtney (Adrian) Taylor of Gainesville, Florida, Ila Winston of Southmont, North Carolina and Chalice Moore of Durham, North Carolina; a faithful and life-long partner, Gregory Ward of Raleigh, North Carolina; a special niece, LaToya Hargrave of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
