Mr. Steven Edward Cromwell Reid, 69, was born in Thomasville, North Carolina on December 25, 1953 to Coya Edward Reid and Marian Elizabeth Brummell Reid. He passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Hinkle Hospice House.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald F. Reid and three sisters: Gilda R. Brown, Sharon Harris and Paula Kearns.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Nanette Dye; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law Fredrick Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be September 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Service.
