Mr. Stevie Wayne Younts, Sr., 75, departed this life on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Hinkle Hospice House. He was born In Davidson County on December 10, 1946 to the late Keely William Younts and Margaret Elizabeth Fritts Younts.

He was educated in the Davidson County School System. He retired from ACME Face Veneer Company. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and sports. Dale Earnhart, Sr. was his favorite Nascar driver and he enjoyed playing basketball with the grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammi Younts; a grandson, Christopher B. Younts and a sister, Karen Younts.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Doretta C. Younts; three sons: Stevie (Jessica) Younts, Jr. of Lexington, Brian (Tiffany) Younts of Denton and Ryan Younts of Lexington; 10 grandchildren: Frankie, Jesse, Shelby, Angela, Adalyn, Audrey, Lyza, Ivy, Josie, Kadence; a great-grandson, Calvin; a sister, Diane (Roger) Spears of Tyro and a host of other family and friends.
