Obituary

Tammie Nanette Naylor Gunderman, age 58, entered eternal sleep, Sunday, March 8, 2026 at her residence with her loving daughter holding her hand. Born May 6, 1967 in Elyria, Ohio, Tammie was the daughter of Wendell Blaine Naylor and the late Betty L. Carlton; and adopted daughter of Patricia Ann Naylor.

She was educated in the Lorain County public schools and was currently working on her Bachelor's degree with Strayer University. A licensed cosmetologist, she was last employed as a CMA with Griswald and Piedmont Home Healthcare.

Tammie was a talented woman who loved everyone. Never idle, Tammie enjoyed sewing and quilting, especially making blankets; cooking and hosting events at home; playing UNO and Spades; watching and going to the movies; shopping and traveling; collection of shoes, especially boots; spoiling her dog and best friend, BOSS; caring for all that came into her life, from an infant to an adult; but her joy of the world came from her loving her daughter, Tamara.

Just in order before her death, one of her best friends, Dailen Woods preceded her in death.

Tammie's memory will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Tamara M. Gunderman of the home; life-long companion (father of Tamara), Robert Gunderman;father, Wendell Blaine (Patricia Ann) Naylor; two brothers, Victor (Sheila) Naylor and Kevin (Molly) Naylor, both of Elyria, Ohio; a special niece, Melissa Fogel; best friends: Mark Bauer, Desiere Gonzales, Travis Jordan and Lisa Thomas and her children: Adam Thomas, Skyler Nunley and Mason Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.
