IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ted
Partee
July 25, 1958 – October 15, 2025
Ted Dallas Partee, age 67, of Lexington, North Carolina, made his heavenly transition on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center in High Point, North Carolina, surrounded by his loving family.
Ted was born on July 25, 1958 in Davidson County to the late Jay Elworth Partee and Mamie Lea Simon Partee. He attended Lexington Senior High School and graduated from Brunswick Trade School in Georgia. Ted was a loyal and dedicated employee of Parkdale Textile, where he supervised faithfully for thirty-seven years.
He was a proud member of Ezekiel AME Zion Church and an enthusiastic fan of the Miami Dolphins and Tar Heels. Ted was known for his infectious laughter, generous heart and unwavering love for family and friends. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he touched countless lives with his kindness, humor and down-to-earth spirit. A devoted dog lover, Ted cherished his two faithful companions, Boo Boo and Beauty, who were never far from his side. He also found joy and peace on the open road, riding his motorcycle with friends and embracing every moment of freedom and fellowship.
In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his sister, Octavia Partee; three brothers: Jay Partee, Don Partee and Toy Partee; and his beloved son, Tedric Jenkins, Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted friend, Kathy Jenkins; three children: Terrance "Tank" Partee (Kelly Gilcrist), Brittany Bingham (Cooley Bingham) and Marquell Boyd; nine grandchildren, Jai'Ante Hardin, NyShein Jenkins, Tedric Jenkins, Jr., Zoey Partee, Cooley Bingham, Jr., Serenity Partee, Brianna Bingham, Ter'rance Partee, Jr. and Ky-Mani Bingham; one great-grandchild, Ny'Meria Jenkins; two sisters, Nora Partee and Faye Partee; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Though Ted's presence will be deeply missed, the love, strength and wisdom he shared will live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him. Ted's memory will forever be a guiding light, reminding us of the power of kindness, faith and perseverance he had. We take comfort knowing he rests peacefully, reunited with loved ones who went before him.
The memorial service will be held Saturday at New Life Worship Center at 2:00pm.
