Teresa Contrice Archie, 53, of Ferrell Court, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, exchanged mortality for immortality on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Hinkle Hospice of Davidson County in Lexington, North Carolina. She was born on August 26, 1968 to Richard Tyrone Archie, Sr. and Jacqueline Flowers Archie in Forsyth County, North Carolina.
Teresa received her education from the local Winston-Salem Forsyth County Public Schools and was a graduate of Mt. Tabor High School. She found joy in caring for others and as a result, her hands found work as a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with family, loving and caring for each one of them.
While attending service with Glory of God Worship and Enrichment Center, she accepted Christ as her personal savior and at that moment became a great servant for Christ.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents: Richard T. Archie and Jacqueline Flowers Archie; grandparents, Charles and Ella Ruth Archie; Alfred Flowers, Sr.. Ethal Payne, nieces: Rickita Crews and Aleshia Archie.
Those left to cherish her life are her two children: son, Anthony Earl Means, Jr.; daughter, Britni Archie; three precious grandchildren: Bri'Shauna L. Reid, Jabri J. Thompson, Destiny C. Thompson ; four sisters: Carol Wearing, Vanessa Wesley, Debra L. Hogg (Carl), Angela "Angel" Jones (Vance); two brothers, Richard Tyrone Archie, Jr. (LeeArlis) and Bishop Carl Reginald Archie and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A joyous celebration of life will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 8, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel (Winston-Salem). The family will greet and share with friends at 12:00 P.M. until the hour of celebration. Public viewing will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Facial coverings and/or masks are required for the services.
