Terry Dennard McNeair, 54, of 1011 Craver Drive, known to his family members as Baby Brother, was called home to be with our Lord on February 29, 2024. He was born July 7, 1969 in Forsyth County, Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Martha Lee Smith McNeair and Harvey Lee McNeair, Sr.
Terry attended elementary school in the city of Lexington. At the age of 16, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts to be with his aunt, Delia Smith and cousin, Timothy Smith. While in Boston he attended Madison Park High School and graduated there with the class of 1988.
During his stay in Boston, he worked for Sears and Robuck and developed friendships and relationships with Kendra, Linda and Drumm Flow, keeping in touch with them over the years. After years in Boston, Terry and his good friend Drumm Flow moved to North Carolina, Terry in the city of Lexington and Drumm in the city of Charlotte.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Stephanie M. Wagner and Barbara Smith Leak.
Terry leaves to cherish his memories, three brothers: Jeffrey McNeair, Harvey McNeair, Jr. and Charles McNeair; his sisters: Sandra McNeair, Bisceglia (Mark) Ellis, Cynthia Baldwin and Tana Cade; his cousin Timothy Smith, who was like his brother; his aunts: Carrie Jefferson, Morphine Young, Elizabeth Thomas, Cornelia (Richard) Geer, Delia Smith Davis, Linda Carol Smith, Sandra Halcomb and Mattie (Albert) McIntosh; uncles, Belvin Ulysses McNeair and Emest McNeair; his best friends: Latasha Boger, Joyce Ann Smith, Kendra, Linda and Drumm Flow; two godchildren, Zari Boger and Mi'Lani Boger and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family who will truly miss him.
Funeral service will be Saturday at Noon at Files Chapel Baptist Church with family visitation at 11:30am.
