Theodore Crump, 87, of Highway 8, passed on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center.

The funeral service will be Wednesday at Yadkin Star Baptist Church at 2:00p.m. with family visitation at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Theodore was born in Davidson County to Clifton Clay Crump, Sr. and Ella Fitzgerald Crump. He was a faithful member of Yadkin Star Baptist Church where he served on many ministries. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mae Rose W. Crump; his brothers: James Artis, Frank, Clifton, Jr., Baxter, Jack and Roscoe Crump and his sisters: Katie Crump, Mary Nell, Clattie Clodfelter and Martha Clement.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Theodore Rayvon Crump and his wife Evangelist Thelma Crump; a daughter, Carolyn Fayedean Crump, MD; a brother, Roy and his wife Elizabeth; a sister, Hallie Woodberry and her husband Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Yadkin Star Baptist Church Building Fund.
