Mr. Thomas Lee Hoover, Sr., 76, of Old Hwy 64 W., died on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Hinkle Hospice House.

Funeral service will be Thursday at Yadkin Star Baptist Church at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

He was born in Davidson County to Harvey Hoover and Katherine McCants Hoover on October 1, 1943.He worked many years in Furniture Industries and was a member of the Yadkin Start Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Latoya Hoover and a sister, Clara Mae Hoover.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Geraldine V. Hoover of Salisbury; three sons, Thomas L. Hoover, Jr., Jeff L. Hoover both of Salisbury and Byron (Barbara) Hoover of South Carolina; a daughter, Lisa Hoover of Salisbury; two brothers, George (Sabina) Hoover and Alvin (Betty) Hoover both of Lexington; a special friend, Mildred Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
