In sweet peace, Timothy Theodore Scott, age 63, transitioned to his Heavenly home Friday, October 13, 2023. Timothy was born December 15, 1959 in Davie County, North Carolina; and was the son of the late Lester and Mary Lee Clement Scott. Timothy was a dignified gentleman that was self-confident, wise, and well-informed. He had a kind, loving heart. He personified the qualities of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. His legacy is simply that he always tried to lend a helping hand to his fellowman.

"Timmie" as he was affectionately known, was educated in the Davie County public schools, Timothy graduated in 1976 from Davie Senior High School, Mocksville, North Carolina. He was employed with Jockey International, Cooleemee, North Carolina until his retirement.

Timothy was a "Man of God" who was committed, active and faithful to his church. As a member of Mainville A.M.E. Zion Church, Mocksville, North Carolina, he served on the Steward Board, Men's Booster Ministry, and the Men's Choir. Enjoying the quiet moments of life, Timothy enjoyed fishing and gardening in his pastime.
He was preceded in death along with his parents; two brothers: Edmond Scott and Larry Scott.


Timothy was married to the "Apple of his EYE" Anissa L. Scott, for twenty-eight beautiful years. He was her MAN and she was his BABY!


A legacy of love, devotion and fond memories will remain in the hearts of the love of his life, his wife: Anissa Scott of the home; three sons: Romero Scott, Cooleemee, North Carolina, Nichlas Watson and Joseph Watson, of the home; three daughters: Tiffany Scott, Advance, North Carolina, Falecia Shedrick, Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Nekita Brown, Beaufort, South Carolina; six grandchildren: Jhonel, Britany, Aiden, Johnathan III, Jayce, and Baby Grace; two brothers: Lester (Rose) Scott II, Beaufort, South Carolina and Mark (Michelle) Scott, Mocksville, North Carolina; two sisters: Shelby J. Scott and Marion Dobson, both of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; uncles: Wille (Betty) Clement and Willie (Shirley) Scott, both of Mocksville, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Samantha (David) Ellison, Covington,, Georgia, and Brother-in-law, Leon Rivers, Greensboro, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.


Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 P.M. Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel with visitation at 12:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mainville A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
