Tisha Danielle Scott, 17, of Ave. J, passed unexpectedly Saturday, January 24, 2015.

The celebration of life service will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church on W. 3rd Ave. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

She was born on June 3, 1997 in Davidson County to Robert "Polly" Scott and Patricia McMillon Scott. She was a senior at Central Davidson High School and a member of Mechanic Baptist Church where she enjoyed praise dancing and singing while assisting her mother in ministry.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Polly" Scott; paternal grandparents, James and Emma Scott and maternal grandfather, John Calvin Shuggs.

Tisha leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother, Patricia Scott; grandmother, Evelena M. Graves; three brothers, Michael (Stacy) Scott, Robert (Rebecca) Scott and Tarik (Patricia) Bey; eight sisters, Angela (Michael) Curry, Cora "Angel" Scott, Jennifer (Brian) Scott, Lakara Moore, Keesha (Duane) Waits, Monica Hunter, Stephanie Scott and Tonya Steeler; godmother, Reba Smith; a special nephew, Kristopher Hunter; special friends, Malik Rouse, Rae Kwan Covington, Brooklyn Baldwin, Carrie Richardson, Destiny Valentin and Nay Nay Montanez and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
