Mr. Tommie James Floyd, 69, of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Trellis Supportive Care (Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home). He was born on November 29, 1952 in Dawson, Georgia to Tommie Lee Floyd and Loney Belle Lumpkin.


He received his formal education from the local schools. Tommie gratefully served in the United States Army, receiving various ribbons and awards. He was employed with Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.


A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem. Homegoing services will take place 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 8, 2022 at Poteat-Wakefield Dunbar Chapel, Albany, Georgia with burial to follow at Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, Georgia.
