Tony Lynn Bullard, 48, was born on December 21, 1974 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Vernon Jeter and Almika "Candy" Bullard. He left this earthly life on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Tony attended the local schools of Winston-Salem in Forsyth County. Tony understood he needed some spiritual guidance in his life and thus accepted the Lord at an early age. He was a dedicated member of United Progressive Baptist Church. He sang in the youth choir. Tony had a beautiful singing voice. During his life Tony worked in sales for many years. He was a natural and could sell you just about anything. His hands would find work with Rent-A- Center for over 15 years and most recently with Modern Home until his health would no longer allow. He was smart, caring and hilariously funny. Tony loved to eat, as a matter of fact as a small kid, Tony would get teased by his uncles about his eating.
Tony loved old-school music, watching and going to wrestling matches with his late aunt Sylvia. He was a hard worker, and he had the gift of conversation and never met a stranger. Tony had a talent for artwork and writing songs and poetry. He had a great respect for the elderly; he enjoyed just spending time with them and talking and hanging onto their every word. He was genuinely interested in what they had to say. Tony was engaged to the lovely Tara Williams, who was the love of his life. They thoroughly supported each other through life's hills and valleys, trusting and depending on the Lord and their love to get them through every situation. He loved Tara with a deep and everlasting love that only comes around once in a while.
Tara's family became Tony's family even though Tony was an only child. Tony's many cousins were his brothers and sisters. He supported them, cut up with them and he loved them all.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Jeter; grandparents, Kemp and Bernice Bullard, Lewis and Laura Thompson; step brother, Frank Williams, II; two aunts, Sylvia Jerrett and Ernestine Bullard.
He is survived by his mother, Almika "Candy" Williams (Frank); uncle, William Bullard; his fiancé, Tara Williams and a host of cousins, family members and many, many friends.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be conducted 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel (Winston-Salem) with the family receiving friends at 11:30 A.M. prior to the service.
