Tony Leroy Hailey of Lexington, North Carolina, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 28, 2025, at the age of 60.

Tony was known for his kind heart, joyful spirit, and unwavering love. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the task. He loved fishing, singing, and playing PlayStation, but above all, he cherished his faith and lived his life guided by it.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted fiance, Sylvia Burteson of Lexington, NC; his beloved fur babies, Cassie and Biscuit; his brothers, Bobby Hailey of Lexington and Dewayne Hailey of North Carolina; his sister, Melissa Hailey of North Carolina; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Tony's life will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Gospelway Baptist Church.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten - Tony's love, laughter, and light will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
