Trasen Lavar Scott, 42, son of Tracy Lavon Scott and Clementine Jones Scott. Trasen Scott was born on June 17, 1977 in Los Angeles, California and departed this life on November 4, 2019 in his Winston-Salem, NC home.
He was a member of St. Peter's World Outreach Center, Winston-Salem, NC. Trasen had a strong spiritual background through his parents who diligently led him to seek the Lord at his church where he loved to attend the praise and worship of the church.
He graduated from North Forsyth High School where he played football and played the trombone in the Viking Marching Band. He furthered his education at Alabama State University and was currently attending real estate school at Caldwell and Banker.
Tre, Trey, Trasen, Tre'Tha Shark and Bugzy as he was affectionately known by those close to him, was also known for his colorblind love. He was equally known for his distinguished gentleman look with his debonair signature dark shades. He never met a stranger. Everyone who met him loved him. He was caring, compassionate, humble, genuine, and full of positive energy. He prepared himself for greatness and for his eternity with God.
Left to thank God for the life of their loved one are: His mother and father, Atlanta, GA; three brothers: Benjamin Butch Edwards (Triel), Wilmington, NC; Antoine Scott, W-S, NC; Demetrise Jones, W-S, NC;two sisters: Tammy Victoria Scott, Atlanta, GA and Tanya Beatrice Crockett, W-S, NC; five nieces: Kendra Edwards, Brittany Edwards, Nevcien Crockett, Nylah Crockett, and Nia Crockett; nephew: Josh Jones and Khaden Crockett and a host of very close friends.
The Service Celebrating his Life will be conducted Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Peter's World Outreach Center with family moments of visitation at 10:30 a.m. prior to the Celebration of Life.Trasen's mortal frame shall be coached to Gardens of Memory for earthly rest.His remains shall lie in repose Friday, November 15, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem.
