Twilla Jean Greer, in chapter 67 of her life, concluded her life story on Wednesday morning, March 5, 2025 while in the comfort and security of her home. She was born on May 11, 1957 to the late John West Tuttle and Emma Jane Greer in Davidson County, North Carolina.
Twilla was educated and graduated from the local school system. Ms. Twilla had a nurturing spirit and thus she obtained her CNA certification and was employed with Meridian Center in High Point, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Greer and John Tuttle; one son, Barry Richardson; brothers, Barry Greer and Thomas Tuttle and her grandparents.
She leaves to cherish her life, her son, Christian Greer; brothers: John Wayne Greer (Debbie), Chester Tuttle, Calvin Tuttle, David Tuttle; sister, Sandra Tuttle; very special nephews and nieces: Marcus and Bryon Leonard, Misha Greer, Bradley Leonard, Cassandra Hogan, Shawn Ensley; a very special cousin, Sadie Tuttle; one aunt, Juanita Tuttle; uncle, Mack Tuttle and a host of nieces and nephews who were also special to her.
Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church with visitation at 12:30 P.M. prior to the service. A public viewing will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
