Obituary

The life of Mrs. Twonee Ware began on December 20, 1955, in Winton, NC. Twonee "Montrae" Wilson-Ware is the daughter of two loving parents. Twonee was the only child. Raised by her mother, the late Alice Marie Wilson-Garner and her father Robert M. Gardner who preceded her in death. Twonee spent the first six years of her life in Winton, NC. She later moved to Brooklyn, NY however she spent every summer in Winton, NC until the age of 12. Twonee attended Dickerson High school in Jersey City, NJ upon completion she attended New Jersey State college where she began to pursue her education in healthcare.

Twonee always dreamt of being a wife and mother. She married at an early age and had three beautiful children. Twonee began her corporate career as a paralegal working on Wall Street in Manhattan, New York. After moving from Jersey City, NJ she took a job with Federal Express; where she worked for 18 years until she decided to take an early retirement to honor her true passion, which is caregiving. She loved to help others. She took classes to become a foster parent. After her retirement she worked as a caregiver for 16 years. Twonee enjoyed gardening, interior design, shopping, the game of Scrabble/words with friends, but MOST of all she enjoyed building memories with her grandchildren. She has never missed a graduation, birthday, or a random opportunity to just say I love you and I was thinking about you.

Twonee leaves to cherish her memories: her loving, supportive husband of forty years Edward Ware Jr.; two sons, Earl Dupree Wilson of Roanoke, VA and Darien Wesley Wilson of Winston-Salem, NC. Twonee has one daughter Allyshea D. Barr of Charlotte, NC.
