Victor Jerrod Verdell, 48, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Cone Health Moses Cone Hospital. He was born January 15, 1975 to Bobby Gray Verdell and Eleanor Smoot Fuller in Davidson County.

He was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School. He was of the Baptist faith. Jerrod was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerrod leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Tarron Mock and Jaxon Verdell; a brother, Jeff Verdell and his wife, Yvonne; six uncles, Leo Smoot, Harvey Smoot, Frank Smoot, Kenneth (Judy) Smoot, Larry (Corrine) Smoot and Darryl Smoot; six aunts, Helen (Ben) Williams, Berline Thomas, Marjorie Smoot, Pam Smoot, Margret Bauccum and Melba Cooper
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
