William "Bill" Bell was born on December 28, 1953 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late William Bell, Jr. and Mildred Bell. He was the eldest of six children.

Bill accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. His faith walk started in a tent revival back in 1966. He later attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses with his wife and family.

Bill was raised in Jackson, MS in his early years but moved to Los Angeles, California with his father and graduated from Locke High School in 1971.

After finishing high school, Bill attended truck driving school where he learned to drive 18-wheelers from state to state. He drove for an extended amount of time for the Harris Teeter Grocery Store chain where he transported fruits and vegetables for the food chain. He retired as a truck driver. After retirement Bill performed professional cleaning services within Winston-Salem.

Bill met the love of his life, Kim, in California in 1987. The two united in marriage on June 29, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They shared 35 years of love and marriage. He was a devoted, loving father to his kids and grandkids.

Bill departed this life on May 2, 2023 in Winston-Salem, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, William Bell, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 35 years, Kim Bell; daughters: Rhonda, Angela, Brittney, Cyndia, Na'Kim, Alexus and Tabitha; sons, Aaron and William III; mother, Mildred; sisters: Connie, Pat, Annette and Regina; brothers: Will, Ray, Paul and Milton; grandkids: Maurice, Gabriel, Tyesha, Aaron III, Fred, Mitchell, Aidan, Liam, Tu'Daizy, Aten, Doquann, Cyndaia, Ember, Arian, Armae, Michael, Armonee and Kegan; in-laws: Eddie Mae, Clayton, Charlene, Roxane, DeShona, Alice, J'mel, Sharon and Majorie; one aunt; two uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved very much.

Funeral arrangements celebrating his life will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Roberts (Winston-Salem). Public viewing will be Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
