Willie Edward Baughman, Jr., affectionately known as "Bill", was born on May 21, 1939 to the union of Willie Baughman, Sr. and Annie Mae Ferris in Catawba County, North Carolina. He transitioned from this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 while in the comfort of his home.

Bill accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was a devout member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. He was employed with Martin Motor Line as a truck mechanic with over 30 years of dedicated service. In his leisure, Bill enjoyed listening to Gospel preaching and singing while working with his tools around the house.

Bill was united in holy matrimony with Theresa Holden on June 23, 1995 in Walkertown, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Roberta Barlow Baughman.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife, Theresa Holden Baughman of the home; children: Jeff Baughman, Steve Baughman (Tina), Christina Miller (Ted) and Daniel Wright; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 890 Walkertown-Guthrie Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27101 with the family greeting family and friends at 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Pastor Matt Morris and Rev. Frank Shoemate will serve as officiating ministers. Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem) is serving the family.
