Willie McArthur Moss or "Mack," as he was so affectionately called, was born October 30, 1955 to the late Norma Lee and Walter Tuttle in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He exchanged earthly work for eternal rest on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

"God saw the load too heavy, the hill too hard to climb; he gently closed his weary eyes and whispered, 'Peace be thine.' "

Mack spent his childhood amongst family and friends growing up in Midway and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Upon graduating from Parkland High School, he embarked on adulthood by creating a beautiful legacy with the birth of each of his precious children and starting his career with Sara Lee Hanes Brand Company for whom he worked until his retirement.

Mack filled his days of retired life by making lasting memories with those dear to his heart: traveling with Ruth, enjoying his Westerns on T.V. and spending as much time as he could doing what he loved best...Fishing!

Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Norma Lee and Walt Tuttle; aunt, Anna Scott; grandmother, Annie Mae Moss and his great-granddaughter, Ju'Riyah Cooper.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory the woman of his heart, his adored Ruth; a devoted sister, Debra Green; cousin who was more like a brother, Tommy Moss, Sr.; carrying on his legacy are his loving children: Sateria (Cliff) Bruton, Aaron (Shannon) Peace, David Peace, Sheena Peace, Carlos Moss, Christina Moss, Dashawn Anderson, Lewis (Chug) Russell and Eric Russell; 16 wonderful grandchildren; 9 precious great grandchildren; a host of dear aunts, uncles, cousins; and a close, faithful friend and confidante, Robert "Gerald" McLean.

His life will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem), with visitation at 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Public viewing will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
