Willie Nathaniel Sheppard, 31, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 9, 1990 to Carolyn Sheppard and Willie Hall in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Willie was an avid reader and music listener, He enjoyed spending time with is siblings and nieces and nephews. Most of all he enjoyed spoiling his mother whom he loved dearly. During his life he worked with Speedway.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Carolyn Sheppard; his father, Willie Hall; two sisters, China Sheppard, Janae Hall; two brothers, Delano Sheppard and Ricky Sheppard; two aunts: Angela Miller (Jonathan) of Weddington, NC, Evelyn Gathings (Marvin) of Winston-Salem, NC; one uncle, Randy Sheppard (Marie) of South Dakota and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Also dear to his heart, Mr. King; two play sisters: Kenya Horton (Kenjii as he called her) and Lashawnda Scriven (sister-in-law as he called her) and his second family, Maggie Marshall (aunt Maggie as he called her) Keda, Kewan, Kimberly and Kayla (Marshall gang as he called them).

His life will be celebrated 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Cathedral of Refuge Church, 534 Oak Summit Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27105 with family moments of sharing at 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Public viewing will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
