Mr. Willie Lee "Wil-Lee" Vaughters, 69, of Ave K., departed this life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his residence.

He was born in Rowan County on May 17, 1949 to Morris Lee Vaughters and Ruby Hawkins Vaughters. He attended Dunbar High School. He retired from Duracell Battery after 36 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Patricia C. Hawkins and an aunt, Marietta Neely.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Delores McCandies Vaughters and his daughter, Lavonda Vaughters, both of Southmont; three brothers: Gordan Vaughters, Gil (Lavonnie) Vaughters, Jerome (Gloria) Vaughters; three sisters: Kay Vaughters, Mary Vaughters, Loretta Vaughters and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center with family visitation at 12:30pm. Family will be at the home of his sister on Osprey Trail.
