Mrs. Wilma McGuire Henderson, 94, of Booker Ave. passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

The funeral service will be Monday at 12:00pm at First Baptist Church, Village Dr. with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Sunday from 1-6pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born on June 16, 1924 in Davidson County to Walter McGuire and Annie Perkins McGuire. She worked many years for Dr. Jean Craver and Family and was a member of First Baptist Church, Village Dr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Henderson; three sons, James, Christopher and Horace Henderson and a daughter, Diane Henderson; two brothers, Joe McGuire and Sam Perkins, Sr. and a sister, Christine Henderson.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Charles Henderson; two daughters, Drusellia Clayton and Judy Brown; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
